About Maternal Life International

Formed in 1997, Maternal Life International (MLI) is a 501(C) 3 nonprofit dedicated to providing a family of safe, practical, life-affirming, and innovative programs in maternal health care, in AIDS avoidance and care, and in fertility awareness under an umbrella of Family Health Alive options. Programs are module-based and can be selected individually or in groups by in-country people and organizations, depending on need.

Family Health Alive emphasizes respect for the life and dignity of the human person as the foundation of medical care, teaching health care providers and community educators to see a patient with eyes of mercy and not eyes of judgment and as gifts and persons rather than problems or burdens.

We partner with corporate and private foundations, businesses, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and community- and faith-based organizations. While we work with religious-affiliated groups, MLI's aims are purely humanitarian. Donations are tax deductible.
