THIS IS WHO WE ARE

Formed in 1997, Maternal Life International (MLI) is a 501(C) 3 nonprofit dedicated to providing safe, practical, life-affirming, and innovative programs in maternal health care, in HIV avoidance and AIDS care, and in fertility awareness under an umbrella of Family Health Alive options. Programs are module-based and can be selected individually or in groups by in-country people and organizations, depending on need.

Family Health Alive emphasizes respect for the life and dignity of the human person as the foundation of medical care. We teach healthcare providers and community educators to see a patient with eyes of mercy and not eyes of judgment and as gifts and persons rather than problems or burdens.

To maximize our outreach and efficiency, Maternal Life forms affiliates with  single-purpose organizations that have the same mission and hold to the same values for maternal and family healthcare.

MLI Affiliates Are:

Starting our 15th year, Maternal Life and its affiliates also partner with corporate and private foundations, businesses, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and community- and faith-based organizations. While we work with religious-affiliated groups, MLI’s aims are purely humanitarian. Donations are tax deductible.
